Our business is about providing online marketing services for business owners in the Roofing industry (SEO, social media etc).
We are wanting designers that can work quickly producing e-books, covers for them, and matching lightbox banners. You will be provided with a Headline and the successful applicant will work autonomously with little direction to produce attractive, creative and visually compelling 3D design and artwork determined from the headline.
You will be able to provide your own royalty free images to use in the project.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver the Cover Artwork consisting of 3D and other images that effectively represent the e-book as a real-life product.
You will be provided with the headline and sub-headline to use:
HEADLINE: "Leaky Roofs"
SUB-HEADLINE: "Five ways to plug the holes in your customer bucket"
A sample of cover artwork is attached, and more will be provided prior to commencement.
The cover is designed to be a "lead magnet" or gift on a website that is given away to a prospective customer in exchange for an email address. This is why the project needs compelling cover art, to draw the customer's eye.
Please supply the finished image as a PNG with transparent background and very little margin around the edges.
Please provide it with various treatments (eg. standing book, pile, with drop shadow, portrait and landscape etc). More indicative samples will be provided.
We want to ensure that you can indeed produce compelling visual artwork, so please provide samples of previous work in your response.
If you are successful in being selected for this ebook cover and you complete it to a high standard, and it's the one we use, you will also be asked to complete the lightbox banner and potentially other projects as well. You will become part of our team as a regular freelancer.
How long do you think this will take, in hours? What's your hourly rate?
What's your total bid (based on time and hourly rate)?
If you've read this far, there's just one more question for you. Please make sure you answer it in the first line of your response.
"What is the colour of the sky where you are right now?"
Thanks for looking this project over and I look forward to your response.
