Looking for someone to design my business card and meet the specifications from the printer (below). This will be printed on a semi-transparent plastic PVC card. I have attached what i am thinking for my LOGO and my business INFO. Color preference would be Navy and Gold, but trust your opinion on the best colors for this type of project. As i want to insure the information is readable. Specifications from the printer: - I accept AI(CS5 or older version) or CorelDraw (X6 or older version) file or PDF file(converted from AI or CorelDraw) ONLY!!! - We need your artwork to be in a press-ready format, all fonts outlined. 85mmx54mm is the max size of our transparent card, with 3mm bleeds. Colors in your files must be CMYK encoded which is a standard for printing, if you send us RGB files or other color system files, there will be a significant color change. - The batch cutting machine has a tolerance of 1mm-2mm. Please ALWAYS allow for a 1/16"(1.5mm) tolerance. - We recommend against borders of any kind on your design. If they are too close to the trim line they may appear unequal. Hello, I would like the opportunity to create your business card for you. I am an experience Graphic Designer, having been in the field for many years. I have excellent knowledge of printed design and the specifications associated with it. I will create your business card in keeping with your logo, and will research colours that work well with the colours in your logo to make sure it stays on brand. I will use Adobe InDesign to create this as this is the best software to use for this kind of project and I will export it as a pdf, following printer specs. I have a technique that I use when creating multiple business cards in that I import all the information straight from an excel file into the document, which only takes a couple of seconds. This comes in very handy if you have a large number of business cards to create all with different names on them, so i will be very happy to help if you ever needed more in the future.
