REST based configuration interface for existing application

We have a current application which has a php based legacy web interface, but also has a new REST based API. The goal of the project is to create a partial angular2 based interface which uses only this REST API to replace 3 configuration pages as proof-of-concept. Later we want to replace the whole interface, but right now we just need to see how this new interface would work. If the PoC is successful we will extend the project scope. In this first milestone we want to have the same functionality/layout in all new pages, we do not need to change the logic. However we do not need to be 100% identical, if some other solution is more feasible or if the API logic is a bit different.
