HR practitioners are always requested to put money where their mouth is. This has and continues to be a challenge for many HR professionals. An understanding of the ROI on HR activities places the HR practitioner at a better negotiating and influencing pedestal within the organization.
My vast experience and exposure in the HR field is key to the successful completion of this task. Having moved from entry to strategic levels within the HR field, I have an appreciation on the importance of Data and Metrics and how they impact the organizational bottom line [ROI]. As a HR practitioner, I take great pride in understanding how talent management eventually impacts the profit or loss that the organization makes. As per my understanding, this is what this assignment requires, an analysis of key HR activities to determine their impact on the financial investment made to the HR department.
My proposal is to look at key HR activities that affect the bottom line and analyze them for the financial impact on the organization. I will assess their impact and answer these key questions; are they helping the organization make, save or loose money? Recommendations, if required can be shared based on the findings to enable the HR personal have better impact on the strategic direction of the organization.
I look forward to further engaging with you on a one-on-one basis to have a better, detailed understanding of the task at hand and possible engagement.
