Briefing iphone application for checking nummerplates in Switzerland

Introduction: In Switzerland, it is by law allowed to check the address behind someone’s car number plate. Each canton (=province) has developed its own system for this. Most of the cantons allow a direct lookup via internet (although some with registration, captcha or ip-capping), only a few allow access via phone, sms, e-mail or regular post. All data can be found in an excel-file I can send over later. Concept An iphone-application (paidversion, with free “teaser?? version) which allows the iphone-user to select the canton (Vaud, Geneve, Zurich, Berner Oberland etc.) and type in the platenumber (only digits, max. 6). Based on this data, the application itself (not a server-app, as we get into problems with the ip-capping) parses this data to the corresponding website, and returns back the name, address and cityname. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
