Build me a desktop application of a chess game where you can move the pieces, but do not play against an automated computer. (Written in Java and Swing)

Trying to make a desktop application of a chess game, but without the automated computer making moves. I just want it to be a board with two sets of pieces, and it enforces the rules of chess. I am a student and need this done in by Wednesday the 27th, preferably earlier. Would love to talk more about what is needed and the level of code expected (not particularly high). needs to be written in java, with the basic gui in Swing.
