Good evening, because I can not get in touch with my old programmer, I need someone else to finish the job. I will explain and try to be as understandable as possible: I currently have a game emulator (client) created in python, the way to play is the client connects to a server (hosted on Amazon AWS) and users connect to play online (p2p). It happened that in the old VPS the client was running super slow so I decided to migrate everything to Amazon. Today the client starts but at the time of connecting with the other user it shows a strange message (see attached image) and the rooms take a long time to load (before they loaded on time). I need this fixed. The professional should have broad knowledge in python, servers, linux and p2p. Without this knowledge it will not be possible to arrange the work. The hiring will only be via freelancer and the payment will be released only when the job is finished and everything working as requested. For more information contact me. Vou explicar e tentar ser o mais entendible possivel: Atualmente tenho um emulador de jogos (cliente) criado em python, a forma de jogar é o cliente conecta com um server (hospedado no Amazon AWS) e os usuarios conectam para puder jogar online (p2p). Hoje o cliente inicia mas na hora de conectar com o outro usuario mostra uma mensagem estranha (ver imagen anexo) e as salas demoram muito tempo para carregar (antes carregavam na hora). Preciso que seja consertado isso. O profissional deve ter conhecimentos amplos em python, servers, linux e p2p. Sem esses conhecimentos não será possivel providenciar o trabalho. PROTOTYPE Server doc is ok but we can do this work on hourly basis because it is fixing job and we dont know how much time it may take. So fix cost is tough. PROTOTYPE Hi, I have experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, Cloudwatch, RDS, etc.) in my company and I have been using Python and more than one variant of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) at work for several years. From your screenshot it seems that the server cannot respond the client in time, resulting in a timeout. It might be network problem, or server high CPU usage, or something else. I might be able to help, or at least provide some advice if you would share some more information. I personally do not really care if I get the job and get paid or not - I just love to see bugs or problems or mysterious errors being solved. Thank you.

Hello, I saw your project and it reminded me of the issues our company also had moving to AWS. Most likely there is still some network to be setup since AWS networking has multiple layers, have you confirmed the server is acknowledging the client connections? You may want to double check your security groups to allow inbound traffic and have attached a NAT gateway for your VPC. I estimate that this would take one day of debugging to figure out. First I would confirm traffic is flowing from the client to server, then from server to second client. AWS also requires that you define outbound connections from your server, so this is another possible blocker. Thanks for considering me. Se habla Español.
