If you're serious and can back it up, ill throw in with you.
I have extensive experience managing projects that involve computer learning and am especially proficient in SPSS modeler and it's spectacular capabilities (although some of the more basic programs - R, SAS, etc. - give you some more freedom.
I developed a computer tool that would predict the likelyhood that am admitted patient would be readmitted within 30 days of discharge using SPSS. AUC damn near .90 after the sucker had enough time to parse the 1000s of variables we were feeding it. But I got out of there the second someone sad hadoop with a straight face.
Anyway, I've also developed portions of connect and develop and a self improving enterprise wiki for a fortune 50 consumer product safety company. Some interesting developments with Visual Basic and getting unsolvable differential equations to converge to black scholes.
I love that stuff. Now I'm just a cranky professor and COO of a small consulting firm. Like I said, tell me something exciting and believable, and I'm on board.
best,
Brian
