Implement least-squares linear regression to obtain the regression of Y on X on the following data (training set):

Note that our X here is one-dimensional. (consider linear regression of Y on X when X was a d-dimensional feature-vector. When X is multidimensional, the regression is described by some as “multiple linear regression.”)
Consider the test points X = 2.4, X = 5.5, and X = 3.9. Assume that the test points’ Y values are (magically) known: (2.4, 0), (5.5, 1), (3.9, 0).
you can write a simple program to do it. Please do not use any ready-made package that offers linear regression as a single callable function; using function calls for, e.g., Gaussian elimination, matrix inversion or pseudo-inversion is OK, though.
