This work is related to Digital Signal Processing (DSP). Simulation with detail report is required with actual statistical data by which comparison will be made.
Long Term Evolution (LTE) uses Single Carrier Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (SC-OFDM) for uplink and Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) for download, to avoid inter signal interference (ISI) cyclic prefix (CP) is being used. The new modulation technique Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS) has introduced which is 100 times faster than existing modulation. The objective of this research paper is to replace existing LTE modulation (OFDM) with OFTS which will not only lead to enhance the spectral efficiency of LTE but also provide much higher data rate to the users.
Simulation work is required to make comparison of existing OFDM vs OFTS in LTE framework, with the help of stats, graphs and analysis tools it will proved that minor changing in modulation can lead to improve the existing technology.
Comparison of SC-OFDM and OFDM will be make with the new modulation technique OTFS in LTE environment so that LTE operators may be moved to change their modulation for better results in existing framework.
