What i need is that on all time frames the current & both my higher time frames is better timed entries and exits in place. I don't know why sometimes it takes a trade and why so many according to my strategy. I want it to get in and out at better times.
My EA consists of an ATR, EMA's, Stochastics, MACD, ADX directional movement index which im questioning the functionality of because i have a parameter called ADX Rising and it's suppose to enter the trade when the ADX starts to rise and exit when it falls but it doesn't seem to be doing that according to my backtester visualization.
What i want done on my EA is:
-Fix the ADX so it is seperate from the Directional differntial index, and have it work so when ADX is rising, exit when it starts falling. I have current and close bars on so i generally know when it suppose to enter and exit as with the other indicators.
- I want to have seperate entries and exits for the indicators. Lets say i want to enter on stochastics and Directional movement index, or if want to enter only on the ADX rising. Or MACD i want to be able to choose within a combination or just a single indicator to get me in on. I don't want misfired trade, and exits that were taken to late, or entries.
To reiterate: I want my ADX Rising fixed.
-I want separate indicators for entries
-I want separate parameters for exits
-The top time frames are just used for entries not exits but i want a set of parameters to toggle how they use entries and exits, that can be used in combination.
-I want accurate entries and exits that correspond to the parameter inputs i toggled
I am a bit rusty when it comes to coding EAs but I am willing to work on your EA depending on the programing language, what software you use to test historical data, and I'll need to see exactly what code is already available and what API you are using for the indicators you are using. I personally don't trust some test environments as changes to the software also affects how the bot behaves during execution. I worked on EA/Bots for cTrader (FxPro) and cAlgo that scrapes one currency pair having a limit of trades at a time and other related variables. I am sure a lot of improvements to the software has happened since I used the software 3 years ago... I believe that EAs should also have their own logic and stored data which is separate from the data given by charts and that it should do some quick computations on its own before executing any instruction on the existing buy/sell orders.
I could send you a sample algorithm that runs on cAlgo (although the code is old and most likely I'll need to redo it and use the new function calls)... I haven't seed the code you use so I'm not sure how feasible it is to build a EA with the indicators you have chosen to help you do trades.
Hope you would consider my proposal.
I will send you the sample code I used for one of my bots so you can review it on cAlgo.
