Dual Sim SmartPhone Project
Objective
We like to terminate calls via SIP to the phone, then making the phone's second GSM module to make a mobile call and switch these calls together. It is like a one port sim box or also called GSM gateway (see [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] ).
The user of the smartphone shall receive a portion of the revenue made. It shall be called a commission. This way, users in underdeveloped countries can make some income.
In the following we are talking about the second GSM module of the dual sim smartphone if not otherwise noted.
Requirements
- These termination calls shall only be made if the smartphone is in a WiFi network with working internet access but not if using 3G on the smartphone, thus having a better bandwith and mostly free of charge internet connection
- For every n seconds the user shall receive a commission of x currency units (for example for every 60 seconds the user shall receive 2 US Cents)
- User shall be able to check the his commission on the web and receive an sms once every day with his daily made commission and accumulated balance in total
- We shall be able to execute any USSD string and read its answer remotely by IP
- We shall be able to send SMS and read any answer remotely by IP
- Compression used to send to smartphone has to be ultra low bandwith consuming, perhaps using Speex
- Signalling of SIP has to be matched to GSM on the phone
- The user shall be able to see whether WiFi can be used for making calls (maybe ports are blocked or phone is on WiFi, but still needs to login to the WiFi internet page to use internet)
- We shall be able to turn on and turn off caller ID to be shown to called party
- We shall be able to change IMEI number on the phone
- If possible, the operating system shall be Android
- Dual Sim Smartphone must be a low cost model
- User shall be able to his own sim card and make normal calls and sms etc. just like using a normal smartphone, even while there is a call in progress on the second gsm module
- Smartphone's sip implementation shall be able to allow sip registration by a sip switch only if it is ready to make calls (GSM coverage ok, WiFi has internet and no relevant ports are blocked and bandwith is sufficient)
- We should be able to remotely see the status of the gsm module and see status whether it can terminate or not. If our switch can register to the smartphone it is able to terminate, if our switch cannot register then phone is not ready
