I have gathered instruction and workflows that have increased my ability to complete projects on a time crunch. I'm interested in composing music for video games, and have had this passion for some time. The projects were each a week long for different formats and genres of games. I've completed projects with a very similar workflow; and nonetheless have no hesitation with my technical and creative skills in sound design, composition, file management, mixing and mastering audio. I will provide examples of previous assignments of my work.
My plan is to start with new a freshly recorded sounds with every project. In my home studio I have multiple microphones and record through Class-A Focusrite Saffire preamps. This gives an organic character to the sounds you may be after. I then mix the organic recordings with the appropriate synthesis to finish the bone structure of the sounds, and finish with mixing tools--as needed--to give the highest quality sound. I have Komplete 9 Ultimate and other library packages for film and game compositions, and also have other software synths for the music and composition. Previous projects come with guidelines for sound, and more importantly file sizes, which is important to hit to work with the game. I will also concentrate the closest on coheasiveneand that they mix and loop smoothly.
It will only take 2 days for each task: Recording/composing, mixing, mastering, file management, and delivery. I look forward to working with you!
