FLIK is a community hub where young, ambitious women can discover phenomenal females working towards social impact and explore assets to help support their own initiatives and ideas.
Through our female founder & apprenticeship portal, video library of exclusive FLIK interview, curated list of resources, and supportive community, young women will feel emboldened to narrate their own trajectory to success.
The portal FLIK is creating will allow female founders and young female apprentices to find each other and work together. This way, female founders can have ambitious interns as they scale quickly, and apprentices can hone their skills they need to become future change-making entrepreneurs. Our mission is to increase women-led ventures and projects across Canada then beyond.
At the moment, we are running a video interview series with some of the top female founders in North America and have completed interviews with Forbes 30 Under 30, Best-Selling Authors, most powerful women in Canada and will continue releasing our unique interviews to build community. We amplify voices and stories to the collective consciousness, inciting the next generation of female entrepreneurs.
With your support, FLIK can continue building a powerful community of culture-shifters and inspire many other phenomenal women along the way.
We need someone with knowledge in Node.js/Express experience, web socket programming and knowledge of Linux web severs and MongoDB. To create an interaction between different members, where one member has to be matched with another prior to being able to interact (view a listing of members and be able to filter through based on indicated interests. Once two people have both expressed interested in each other - an automated email will set them up). This code needs to be based on an existing code base.
