Alter some Images

Slava Blazer Photography is looking for several photo editors/Basic Retouchers. Please only apply if you work on a Macintosh since we need you to have the correct monitor calibration. If you work on a PC, please do not apply.

Needed knowledge of software: Adobe Lightroom

Preferred attributes (but not necessary): photo editor/retoucher, with a good photographic eye

We will be sending photos to you from several photo shoots every month and you will need to edit them (label good ones with a yellow label and bad ones with a red label in Lightroom) and do Basic Retouching, which includes brightness/contrast adjustment, color correction, cropping and some other minor changes if necessary. This work does not take long if you practice several times.

We are looking for long-term employees. Before applying to this job, please watch the Photo Editing/Basic Retouching Tutorial we have created, so you can see what type of work we need and how fast it can be done. Here is the video:

After that please edit/Basic Retouch the 20 images in this Dropbox folder:

To save the images to your computer, please click "Download" and "Download as zip" in the upper right hand corner. We will need you to send the images back to us also via Dropbox in three folders: yellow label (good photos), red label (bad photos, blue label (maybe photos). All of these labels are explained in the video. You can create a free Dropbox account for this.

Slava Blazer Photography is a reputable photography company. Our client list includes names such as AT&T, Food Network, UCLA, Capital Group Companies and others. Slava's work was published in Vogue, Bloomberg Businessweek, LA Weekly, SF Weekly and other publications.

If hired, you will be paid by project. We mostly shoot events and portraits.
