I need to develop a website on the domain BargainChecks.com. This is a fairly simple website including 3 basic pages - home, category and product - generated by the data in a few tables I will provide. I will also provide a CSS template for the design portion so I am only needing someone with the skills to integrate with the provided design. This can be developed in ASP or PHP, whichever the developer is most comfortable with. There will be a few specialty pages needed in addition to the core site pages, which can be developed after the initial 3 pages are completed. I am looking for someone who can work quiclkly on this. I will be available to respond quickly to questions and to review the work. ## Deliverables **[login to view URL] Site Requirements:** ? **Objective:** Build a dynamic website including home page, category pages and product pages (but not ecommerce) based on a datafeed of products. ? **Data:** 3 tables will be provided in Excel format ??" Brand, Category and Products. ? **Design:** I will provide a CSS template to be used to build the site. Each of the items I need below can be found on one or both of the sites so I am hoping this is enough info to give you to start working. ? **Site will consist of 3 basic page templates:** ? **Home page** ??" Top navigation to include the site name, links for Personal Checks, Photo Checks, Business Checks, Check Accessories, Special Offers and a Search box 2.? ? ? ? Section to display Check Categories ??" I will show the brand, offer text such as “Free Shipping & 49 cent checks??, and the actual offer code. If there seems to be room we may include an abbreviated version of this in navigation, but let’s see how things fall into place. 4.? ? ? ? Section for featured/most popular check designs. I would feature no more than 6-9 designs. I will provide a list of these later ??" for now just use placeholder images (216x99 size) but plan to include the check image, check name and brand name (such as Frog Checks from The Check Gallery), and short offer code and text. I’d like to show these maybe 3 across and use the thumbnail images but add a button for click to enlarge pop-up ??" maybe a magnifying glass icon or something. 5.? ? ? ? The main navigation will be the same here, and then there are 3 areas I would like to include on this page - one for the product, one for the brand in which the product is sold and one for the category that the product is in as we will show similar themed products below the main product. 2. For the product section: 1. Product Name as Page Title 2. Product Description 3. Product Image ??" large rotating version 4. Smaller/hyperlinked product name 5. Order Now button/call to action button 3. For the Brand Section: 1. The Brand Logo (to be provided) 2. Offer Text 3. Offer Code 4. Call to Action/Order button to order from the brand 4. For the category section ??" this will call the same include file that was used on the category page. This will appear below the featured check and offer similar designs the customer might like, thumbnail image. 5. Products link to the merchant website ??" links are provided in the data. ? **Other Pages:** Please develop secondary category and product pages for side tear checks, desk set checks, top stub checks and photo checks. This can be done AFTER the main site is developed and deployed as it is of lower importance. Fields in the database identify most of these formats. ? Please also include a site map linking to all categories within the site as well as the high-level navigational links. ? **Tracking** We will need to append tracking parameters to all links leaving the website and linking to the printers. This tracking url will be passed into the website from our external advertising and must be held in a cookie and re-passed to the merchant as the “afftrack?? parameter. Example: Link coming from Google comes into the site as follows: [[login to view URL]][3] You must collect TrackingCodeA and append the ?afftrack=TrackingCodeA to all merchant links. ? **Administration:** Please provide an easy-to-use web-based access where new data can be managed and old data deleted as products are discontinued. I would like to be able to Add/Edit/Delete from all tables. ? **Other:** I will provide the code snippet for Google Analytics to be added to the site. I will also provide a snippet of code one of the merchants requires for their tracking system to work. Both of these need to be placed in the footer of every page of the site (or in the template).
