Pocket PC basic stock take / order

Please note Change in Deliverables! I need a very basic application to run on a Casio IT70 pocket PC (windows CE 3.0). It is to handle basic stock details as follows: * stock take - scan stock items - look up a file or mdb for description, ask for quantity and overwrite /add to that quantity. - generate a file for transfer to PC listing all the stock code barcode quantitiies scanned. The it70 has a built in barcode scanner that does not need programming as it scans into the entry field. * stock check - scan a barcode and lookup file for details - show price and ask if a price change is required then enter new price. Generate a file for pc transfer of changes requested - also have a button to order item - if so then ask for quantity. * Goods Receive. A file from the Pc contains a list of items ordered with quantities. On scanning the barcodes, it should show the quantities ordered and ask for actual values. Generate a repsonse file with actual receive quantities. * All functions should also allow adding new items that aren't recognized by adding basic details like price/description etc into a file for transfer to pc. Will provide a sample windows application interface to follow so that functionality is clear but this is a very simple application to do for someone who can use embedded VB for pocket PC. Would prefer to use the pocket access database functionality. ## Deliverables **** change: As this is an older technology and to verify the capability, I will request that the winning bidder supply a simple ("hello world" type) test program to verify that the final application will work on the handheld. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
