SolidWorks Add in or ???

I need to go from a SolidWorks model to a strongly typed dataset that has the all the surfaces of the model represented as 3 dimensional triangles. ie X1, Y1, Z1; X2, Y2, Z2; X3, Y3, Z3.

I believe there is a function in the Solid Works API that will do this triangulization.

Each of these triangles needs to reference the object name and color that it came from.

I think ideally this would be class or a function written in C# or C++ that I could incorporate in another application.

For example a program that would:

1. Ask for the solid works file name.

2. Open the file, read in the objects, and allow the user to select which objects would be converted.

3. Convert those objects and output to CSV file with

object name or id, color, X1, Y1, Z1; X2, Y2, Z2; X3, Y3, Z3
