Access 2002 Import Module

The Project Network organises seminars and conferences for its clients. For each client and for each conference a custom online registration form is build (which runs on our server). Each form consists of fields to obtain information (address, order, payment) of registrants. This information is exported into a Excel file with all information pertaining to one registration located in one row. We need an import module which imports this Excel information into our Access 2002 database. The module must check the new data with that already in the database (is there already a entry for the customer, etc.). It then chops up the information and writes it to the appropriate subdatabases (participant details, order, product and payment), making the appropriate ID's. In addition the module must check the data and adjust it (names must start with a capital, cities must be high caps, etc.). Besides the import module we need an easy-to-use, error proof database interface. Our operators are computer illiterate. The interface has the following functions: - checking, changing, adding and deleting participant, order, product and payment details; - print options: participant list by conference, invoice, confirmation (all documents are already available and need to be automated); - email option: invoice, confirmation - data analysis: total number of registrations by conference ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP Professional
