217679 PHP/MySQL Quick Fix- start now

We would like for you to work on a PHP script that currently is used for the mass creation of multiple niche sites. We have an html template and css sheet, a script that pulls the database content, and a database where we store the content for these sites. Thus, each site has the same style and layout, but unique content, depending on the type of site that it is. We would like you to fix a couple of errors in the PHP script file that populates dbase data into our template, which are resulting in either incorrect data being displayed, or no data at all. The variables are already created. The data is already in the database. The code is already in place, it just doesn't work. For example, we have a field in our database that lists the names of cities that we want to display at the bottom of our site, a previous developer has already named the variables at the top of our script, and previously, the variables worked properly. Meanwhile, we have inadvertently broken those variables, renamed something, or accidentally done something else in making changes elsewhere that have made the cities stop displaying properly. We have 4 or 5 of these very specific errors that you will be able to fix in 5-10 minutes apiece, if you are the right person for this job. After reading that example, the task and issues might seem surprisingly simple - because they are. We intentionally have put together a small, quick, and clearly defined project to help us easily get a feel for each other and get your first payment for service quickly. While the challenges are simple, we have a growing business and many in our company are not programmers, and thus we have many, many 'simple' coding needs like this one. We have team members in place to manage projects, do sales, etc, and we need someone who can jump in and knock out basic variable, dbase field, script bug challenges like this one. If you can do this project quickly, then we have MANY more projects that we are looking for a new team member like you to accomplish, and we will move forward quickly. Skills You DO Need For This Project: PHP scripting & MySQL database organization. In this first project, you would be helping us place data into our site without bugs and according to proper variable naming conventions, etc. We already have the code that produces these multiple sites. Skills You DON'T Need: We do NOT need you to know ecommerce, shopping carts, ajax, java, etc. While you will need to understand HTML and CSS in order to display text from our database into an HTML template, you will not need to be a designer or graphics expert, as we already have a designer responsible for styles, colors, graphics, and site layout. We also do not need you to do DNS settings, create ftp folders, write content, study data, etc. Longterm skills we hope you have: We are looking for a systems engineer with a solid theoretical understanding and significant practical experience with LAMP. The skills you will use are PHP, MySQL data management and relational database setup, Apache command line operations for managing files on our server, etc. While we do not expect that you be a guru at everything mentioned here, we ARE looking for someone who has >3 years of experience coding in PHP, writing scripts with lots of variables, and sending data to and from MySQL databases quickly and correctly. If you can do these things with confidence, then you are perfect for us. Payment: We currently pay our team through via paypal, xoom, payoneer. We already work with outsourced programmers in Argentina, India, and Russia - we operate remotely, via skype and google docs, we go out of our way to give very clearly defined project requests, and work very diligently to not waste your time. Our project philosophy is to make project requests clear to avoid confusion, multiple fixes, and constantly revisiting past projects. We put together projects in small increments at first, pay quickly so that you can become comfortable and confident in our quick payment, etc. In exchange, we look to work with individual who are responsive via google docs, email, and chat, who like to quickly start and complete projects, and who have the ability, interest, and desire to work as many as 3-8 hours per day as we build a relationship of trust and progress.
