PHP Scripts with MySQL Storage; backup with CroneJob - repost

See attached document for better layout TITLE: Develop a internet service (PHP/MySQL). SCOPE OF PROJECT Develop server side of service and provide an example of the client side. CONTEXT Server: providing Name->address service Client-data provider: -> registers local IP address with serial number at server Client-data consumer -> Asks server for local IP address of client-data provided by sending serial number of client-data provider. DELIVERABLES: • PHP Scripts o StoreAddress01(password, serialnumber, localIPAddress, Name, varA, VarB) => result (OK|ErrorNumber)  Server checks password and stores serial number, localAddress, Name, VarA, VarB and the detected global IP address o GetAddress01(password, serialNumber) => result, LocalIPAddress, Name, VarA  Server checks password and searches in MySQL database for serialnumber and provides ResultCode, GlobalIPAddress, LocalIPAddress, Name, VarA and VarB; o GetDevices01(password) => list of devices reported at GlobalIPAddress  Server detects from which GlobalIPAddress the request is submitted and provides a list of devices that are available at this global IP address (Format: list of GetAddress function above) o GetDateTime01(password) => return year, month, mday, wday, hour, min, sec • Empty database o And empty database that can be used with phpMyAdmin in order to setup an empty database • CroneJob for o Automatic periodic backup of the database including sending a zipped copy through email o Running dashboard scripts below • Dashboard script (results in separate database; results through php script with password) o Store total number of clients-data providers (total number of registered serial numbers) • Support to get stuff up and running • Document with interface functions (PHP scripts with definition of variables and error codes) BACKGROUND The service is a kind of Name to IP address service. Clients register their local IP address with the clients serial number at the server. The server stores this local IP address together with the provided serial number and name, WLAN IP address and some additional variables in the database. Clients can contact each other by requesting the server for the local IP address by passing the serial number to the server (Both clients are connected in the same local network) There is one server (Providing this service) and two type of clients. First type of client is a system that registers it's IP address and additional information and the second type of client requests information (requests an IP address for a name)
