I am looking for a VB6 developer with strong knowledge around Windows based Performance Counters. I have a command line app written in VB that is able to retrieve Performance counter values from a Windows based computer. Now the values retrieved seem to be different to the one reported by Windows Perfmon running on the computer. I need you to find out why this is different and to update the code accordingly. Second item that needs to be done is to make error messages more comprehensible. Currently it returns information like: "ERROR: Performance counter retrieval failed with error code: 800007D3" where the error code is like chinese to the end-user Here are some sites with usefull information: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] I need urgent help on this and if you decide to bid then make sure to confirm that you have very strong skills.
