10 page Bodyguard CMS Website - Design provided

Look for an experience UK based PHP developer to build a complete website. My client is a commercial and domestic security company offering a range of protective services, including door supervision, event security and also secure transportation for VIP executives. A design of the homepage will be provided in Fireworks PNG format to work from. The successful candidate will need to understand the Joomla CMS system very well as well as have a very good understanding of HTML + CSS to develop an XHTML compliant website. Website will need to be able to render correctly in IE7+, Firefox 3+ at the very least. You/your business would need to develop in a whitelabelled manner with our link on the footer. Wording will be provided for the pages as well as basic spec. Your job will be to create the template in Joomla 1.6 format and then ready the site for a go-live status, including the menus, pages and contact forms. Whilst content will mostly be provided it is expected that you would format pages in a consistent and eye-catchy way, maybe re-write phrases for good SEO. You will need to source any images from relevant free places if you do not have enough provided by us. The potential page structure is as follows: > Home > Services (This will be a blog layout too, with around 10 sub articles, the service page will act as a category lister which will entise users to read more on each service) > Recruitment > News & Events (Using a simple Joomla category blog layout) > About Us > Contact Us (You will need to make/obtain a suitable contact form) I dont think any custom modules or components will be needed except for the contact form perhaps! Note, we are a web development company ourselves so we know about development and coding standards so we will be able to see if corners are cut! We will validate the code for compliancy and also malicious code. If the successful candidate performs well then we would consider using them for many other future projects where we become overloaded again and probably have a higher budget by then!
