Position requires approx. 20 hours per week and could last indefinitely. 1/3 of work entails developing upgrade/enhancements to current codebase; 1/3 developing new code/routines, often integrating with 3rd party code; and 1/3 maintenance/support.
Applicant should be (A) Familiar with PHP 5.2 through 5.4, as we are currently upgrading from 5.2 to 5.4; (B) a believer in and is experienced in using/integration of 3rd party systems (i.e. rather than reinventing; take simple approaches towards solutions). The individual should be interested to understand our business and process, and not the type only interested in the IT.

1) I always learn through my projects and work I do. There hasn't been a day in my projects that I haven't learned new things.
2) I just passed my IELTS and I got 6 bands overall.
3) I would be accessible on UK time. But not in evening after 5 PM (UK Time).
4) I don't work with designs more. My designer does all the designing for me. But I can edit and debug all types of code.
5) I haven't got a chance to work on AWS but I have worked on google, facebook, twitter and other APIs. I can setup any php application easily on any server.
6) I don't know android or ios. I know jquery mobile.
7) I have experience in developing facebook and twitter apps.
8) I develop the application with proper coding standards and manage the code properly to avoid any loopholes. Also I know how to setup SSL.
9) Again, proper coding is require to avoid that. Efficient queries are important to make your application fast. Other designing issues like image size and table html can also slow down the application UI.
10) None.
11) I conduct alpha testing when system is complete. I use different platforms and different users to perform testing. I find the bug and change the code accordingly. I also conduct unit and integration testing while developing system.
12) Requirement documentation, change log, code and database.
