I would like to get a responsive, flexible WordPress video tube site created that will allow me to host my own videos, embed videos from other tube sites and allow users to upload their own videos as well. The two websites I am basing this on in terms of architecture, layout, design and business model are [login to view URL] (primarily) and [login to view URL] (secondarily). I have a pretty clear idea of what I want, however some expert guidance would be helpful. I am open to using a suitable and responsive Wordpress video tube template that you can modify to my requirements even if it means me having to pay for a premium template that you recommend separately. I am also open to you building one from scratch if that is best suited for what I want. Would love to work with someone who has experience in this particular area and can consult with me before, during, and after the process so that I am able to handle the site administration on my own once the site is done. So strong communication skills and a willing teacher would be helpful. Quality is my main focus here and if the budget needs to be adjusted upward to achieve what I need, that’s a conversation I am willing to have. Finally - if I have found someone who I am comfortable with and delivers to my expectations, I will form a long term relationship with them for all my website related needs.

Here's my thoughts on this. There's absolutely TONS of design & layout options for a video sharing/tube site for wordpress. So I'm 1000% sure we could find something that fits your requirements in terms of visual aesthetic. But in my opinion, that's at the bottom of the priority list. What I mean specifically is that we're dealing with a bandwidth intensive build. Particularly if you intend on hosting your own content. Even more so if you intend on offering users the ability to upload their own content. So hosting & server setup is going to be number 1 on the "To-Do List". We need to look at media based servers with either Wowza or Red5 support. We also need to keep in mind scalability as your user base grows & resource needs grow. I think starting out, a ground up framework build is unnecessary; as a wordpress install would most likely suit things starting and is no where near as costly. But, as your audience & resource needs grow we'd definitely consider looking at using something like Python for future builds (i.e. Youtube is built on the Python framework). I have a few other ideas, as well as questions on what your ultimate "Vision" is on this, so if you'd like feel free to shoot me a message & I'd be more than happy to chat in more detail. _Eddie
