[url removed, login to view] is a multivendor drop-shipping website that enables local farmers and restaurants to transact.
We are looking to build a site using woocommerce and dokan plugin as well as a drop-shipping plugin. Customisation work will be needed.
There will be 2 access roles to be created: the customer role (customers/restaurants being able to buy on the platform) and the vendor role (vendor/local farmer being able to sell on the platform).
Each customer will be able to register, login and access his dashboard where they can add basic information (eg: name, contact details, profile picture, payment details). Customers will also have the possibility to leave product reviews and discuss with the vendor on the platform directly.
Each vendor will be able to register, login and access his dashboard from where he can upload his products. Vendor will also have the possibility to create his profile page on the website displaying his information, credentials as well as the products he is selling. Customer will be able to contact the vendor directly via a messaging service available on the platform (somewhat similar to the messaging service on [url removed, login to view]).
Although it is a multi vendor platform, from a customer experience point of view it will operate as if it was one shop. Customers will be able to browse the shop and search products using menu bars, and filter by subcategories and sub-filters (see shop architecture).
Invoicing: should all products selected by a customer be checked out in one transaction, the customer will pay and be issued one bill only independently of the number of vendors he is buying from the platform. There will also be an auto-generated invoice from the vendor to the platform every time there is a transaction.
Illustrative example: if customer A buys product B from vendor B.
1) platform will invoice customer A and customer A pays the platform
2) platform automatically generates Vendor B’s invoice to the platform for product sold to the customer A via the platform. Platform will pay vendor outside the platform.
Remuneration: the platform will charge a commission on each transaction.
Landing page is being done separately and you will link the platform to it to the platform your are building.
Stripe and Paypal payment gateway will need to be integrated to the platform.
