My computer specs that the program will run on: Windows 7, 3.5ghz quad core, 32GB of Ram, two 250gb SSD drives.
PLEASE See attached .zip file for a .jpeg example of what I want. And the word file with a more in depth and specific explanation of how I want the program to be.
I need to create a program that has a visual display to read and show when price (a number) in a list of .csv files has gone above or below a certain point. The program needs to have a refresh rate that the user can adjust/input of (x seconds). The .csv files the program will be reading are updated every 30 seconds. So the program will need to update every 30 seconds or better to adjust for the updated .csv files. The program will be scanning 700 .csv files and updating the display for a few 1000 (thousand) different inputs of text the user puts in. The .csv files are located on a secondary mapped network SSD drive that does not host the main OS.
The user will paste a specific list of information (text) into the program so it can identify the .csv files to scan and extract the specific numbers to output on the programs display. The text the user will input into the program will change on a daily basis and will be a few 1000 (thousand rows). So being able to add or remove text should be made easy.
The .csv files format (columns) is Date, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume. Which is daily stock quote information. The program locates the specific .csv and the dates within gathered from the pasted input. Then it searches that row for specific numbers and then displays them for the user to see. The program also will contain a few alert features, when triggered will highlight its area with a designated color assigned by the user.
