Create a Messaging system/Chat system

I'm currently developing a CMS which involves contacting people through the website. The way to do that is for each user to be able to contact each other through messages and get notified with a new message for a specific listing.
I need someone proficient who can do this today based on the code I already have.
Here's how it works:
1. User logs in and views a product listing.
2. User can Enquire about that listing to the person who posted it.
3. The person who posted it gets a message and they can start talking in the message room about the product and get notified.
4. This should be instant.
I already have the design and the database setup, I just need for you to build the message system based on what I have.
