Create Additional calculation within a WordPress Plugin

This is a straightforward job for the right developer. Most the function already exist in which I want to create.
The plugin creates these custom post types:
List = [login to view URL]
List item: [login to view URL]
A list is made up of different list items.
Currently, the plugin allows users to rank list items by giving a vote up or down when on a list page.
I want you to add a function that will manipulate the list order. I want when a user clicks on a list item within a list, it counts as 0.5 of a vote.
This new function should track the clicks on a list item over a 7 days period and the refreshes the click-through data stored but allow the list item to keep it's current position.
And then it keeps looping.
