The freelance Web Developer we are seeking for this project is based in the U.S. and must have an understanding of how to capture a diverse B2B market through creative implementation of WordPress website development. The current freelance project is to update our existing website, but could lead to other projects with the growth and development of our technology and products. We are looking to achieve a more user-friendly experience in the design and layout of the current website. Qualifications: 1. Collaborate with marketing team to implement WordPress website designs to the latest standards. 2. As needed, create and implement secondary webpage designs within the WordPress platform, laying out page content in an approved design template (this is for potential future projects). 3. Maintain cohesive, attractive, user-friendly experiences throughout all pages of a site for optimized consistency through all pages. 4. Design interactive elements using existing plugins or custom code as needed. 5. Develop/update for mobile-optimized websites. 6. Conduct cross-browser testing troubleshooting to ensure a uniform user experience. 7. Utilize best practices for coding for SEO and keywords. 9. Implement custom WordPress themes using custom coding. Job Requirements: 1-3 years experience with HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
