Hi,
I am looking for a PHP developer with experience building REST APIs using frameworks like Laravel or Lumen. Experience with any other PHP Framework (Zend, CodeIgniter, Symphony, Yii) will also work, as long as developer is confident building secure REST APIs using the same.
Selected freelancer will be working on building APIs for an e-commerce solution handling real money gateways. So security is very important.
The selected freelancer must be available for 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) and 10 am to 6 pm India time zone. We don't want the candidate to be working exclusively for us, but a minimum of 40 hours a week is required and other than that they will be free to work on other projects as long as there is no conflict of interests.
We prefer using MySQL as database and active records or Eloquent to manage models and interactions.
Preferred skills:
- 3+ years of PHP development experience, with 1+ years using MVC Framework (any of Laravel, Lumen, CodeIgniter, Yii, Zend, etc.).
- Knowledge of Swagger for API documentation is a must.
- Good command over MySQL with database design, table schema, privileges and indexing (using MySQL CLI as well GUI tools such as Sequel Pro or SQLYog).
- Fluent with Git and GitHub workflows.
- Experience developing Rest APIs, handling file uploads, large JSON dataset.
- Experience implementing S3 or similar storage engines to store uploaded content.
- Knowledge of front end framework such as ReactJS, Angular or any other similar will be a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and unit tests is a plus.
- Prior experience building an e-commerce application backend is a plus.
- Functional knowledge of Docker is important.
- Good internet connection (30mbps or higher) is required, as we will be providing you AWS Workspace to perform your tasks.
We will set up weekly milestones and payments will be released monthly. Budget set in this post is for entire duration of 3 months and can be negotiated for good fits.
