Hi! After taking a closer look at your Cash Book Silver and realising you were called Yorkshire accounting I simply had to work out where you were based. Nearly fell off my chair when I found out you were based in Cottigham as I'm just up at Sutton village. Anyway, back to the task at hand it seems to me the obvious choice would be to build a site with a simple login to access the accountancy system side of the site. It is this login which you would charge for using Paypal (I see you already use that and there is no need to complicate things or add extra cost). As for the web application my initial thought would be to rebuild your excel document using a mixture of php and mysql. Essentially a language to generate tables and complete calculations (PHP) and a database system to store client data to allow the system to be editable and retrievable over time (mysql). As far as an app goes, potentially the better option would be to make the web application simply mobile friendly. This could be extended to having a mobile version of the site. iPhone app's in particular require you to conform to a very strict set of rules and could needlessly cost you $99pa +30%. This all being said I should say I am not an iPhone/android app developer but I feel my price reflects this.
