Yes you need to convert html to php file. The thing is, you only need to create new .php file and copy everything from html to this php file. It will work same but with .php extension, so you can actually communicate with .php file and your database. If you need help I can help you with your web site. Hi - If you have a database that is used to display the website certainly .html files will not be sufficient. You need to have a application server engine and a programmable server page (asp or jsp or php) in order to be able to interact with database as well as render to browser. If we could discuss how your environment is i may be able to offer you some help. The way it is described right now - yes there is a problem as html will not be sufficient.
