I have a MYSQL Database with animal, e.g. dogs. Within this database I have various breeds, such as Doberman, Boxer, etc. I need to rank them by two criteria for now: Size and weight. My end result should show a ranking sorted decending by weight, then by size. The ranking needs to start with one with every breed.
I think you call it dense ranking?
I actually programmed something and it works when I test it in MYADMIN, but on my webpage (wordpress) it will not allow it.
the code is an integral part I use with wpdatables, which is a plugin.
I believe it may be because it is a mix of utf8 and another language?
If you have IT knowledge to bridge this problem without having the need to write a code, that will be fine with me, as well. After all, I have a code which works in my Admin.
It is important it works in my Admin and wordpress.
If you can make a plugiun which does the trick I would be interested in that as well. However, on the webpage I need to be able to filter by additional criteria, such as state, country on the ajax-level.
If you have questions, please contact me.

Hi, I read carefully your project, and I wanna do it for you. If you wanna work together, send me a message to discuss details. I am an experienced Web Developer and Web Designer, and have worked with wide variety of skills like PHP, MySQl, jQuery / Prototype, Javascript, HTML, CSS and more for many years. I also have worked over many Wordpress projects. Have good communication skills and great responsibility.
I understand what you want to get but I am a not quite sure what you are talking about in a few instances.
You say:
"I actually programmed something and it works when I test it in MYADMIN, but on my webpage (wordpress) it will not allow it."
By "programmed" do you mean you created a SQL statement that sorts the data the way you want?
Also what do you mean with "wordpress won't allow it"? What has this to do with WP and why would WP allow or deny display of anything? It's probably a WP plugin that reports errors thru, not WP.
UTF-8 is character encoding scheme and not a language of any sort. It's simply one of many was special characters are stored like special letters like ö, Ü, €, etc. Do you have such chars in the database table? Animal names maybe?
I really need to see what you have done and what errors you are getting to better understand your problems and how to solve them or probably better redo this from scratch and make it work as you wish,
