A site like AirBnB - with customization (e-commerce, marketplace) -- 2

We are hiring a developer to create just the first version of the application. At this stage it has to be functional (as specified bellow) and to usable. The design is also important. The requirements are as follows.

I need a site that resembles AirBnB (or another site of that kind) – so it is a rental marketplace model - but with some changes.

Two main points:

A:

The site will have a similar functionality as AirBnB (or one of the following: Housetrip , Wimdu, 9flats, Roomorama..)

REMARK: I designed this model carefully, so that technically it is very close to the standard models (AirBnB, or similar sites) - in order to ensure that the initial implementation will not be very difficult (technically).

So I hope you already implemented a very similar project, so that you can use the script you already have, and make the required changes in it. I am suggesting this because I guess that this is the easiest way. But there may be other ways.

B:

The differences / changes to be introduced:

We will have changes in price for certain days. This is done via a simple algorithm. Rather simple automatic modifications in price, depending on the calendar date.

If you’ve done a project of this kind, these modifications (details will be specified) should not be too difficult to implement. We will discuss the details at later stage.

Other than that, there should be the standard features like on other sites:

- A host can create/edit the profile and verify his identity, etc.

-There should be a simple rating system (the previous guests review the host )

- Ideally we can discuss the best payment module to enable direct payments (and reserving the funds in advance, perhaps using Stripe)

With the candidate that is best fit we’ll provide the details of the specification, the design drawings and so on.

I need someone with whom I can also discuss various aspects of implementation, and technical things.

This stage of the project should be executed rather fast.

For the completition of this stage, you will have it up and running on a development webserver I can access to test its functionality, as desired.
