Wordpress Widget - custom code to create a search for to search another wordpress directory site.

I have two wordpress sites.
One is a business directory using Mylisting and another a blog. I want to create a search panel for the directory site that can appear in the Blog site. Prefferable something dynamic that can change as the site changes.
I have something siimilar operating already as a side bar php function that can be placed on teh site but it is searching an old cms that will be switched off.
So a solution to create a simple search box. the test site I have set up is [login to view URL] the main page will have several search options.
There maybe a plugin for wordpress taht will do this but I have not found it.
