Refactor Powershell scipt

I have a Powershell script that I put together to upload files to Amazon S3. The script works, but I want it to be refactored by a professional with proper error handling and verbose log output. The script does the following: 1. Get a list of files from a folder 2. Check a database table if each file has been uploaded to S3 3. Upload files to S3 4. Log metadata information in the database
