Assist with implementing GIT in my dev environment

I need someone with voice capability to assist me in setting this up via screen sharing with audio. Note that good verbal communication is the number one priority. I have 16 files with 5 different file extensions in 3 folders and 1 subfolder that need to be monitored. Assistance in setting up version control so that I can monitor these file changes is greatly appreciated.
