TASK: In accordance with Oman’s ‘Vision 2020’ document and an effort to diversify the economic base to reduce its dependency on oil revenues, Sultanate of Oman has opened its real estate sector to expatriate clients. Fahad LLC and Nigel Contracting company made an joint agreement. Fahad LLC is a Oman based contractor company and Nigel is an Indian based construction contractor company ready to invest in Oman. The agreement for project is designed for commercial project which includes design, construction, operation and maintenance for a period of 5 years. In this five years of agreement four years will be for construction and one year for maintenance. The project maintenance begins after handover of the project. This agreement is only for the specific project. Submit a report on the following aspects of the project. 1. Identify the risks involved in host country to undertake this project and analyse the probability of acceptance of this project by Nigel Company. 2. Applying modern techniques to reduce the risks from inception to completion and handover of the project. 3. Identify and analyse the risks in the perspective of Fahad LLC company and the Nigel company related to cost control systems and future investments.
