Technical Writer for New Product Manual

The Tech writer will author, edit, and proof technical documents such as product manuals, user guides and other technical documentation. The tech Writer will ensure that documents conform to program regulatory guide lines of Underwriters Laboratory to ensure clarity and understanding of the functional system operations of the dispenser. As our Technical Writer, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team composed of engineering, commercial, customer service, product management, and manufacturing. As the primary author, you will develop the required documentation content, and conduct peer reviews with the technical staff to gain alignment on released information.
The Tech Writer will work and interact with subject matter experts, both internal and external on a day to day basis to write processes, and/or procedures for use by the end users regarding the dispenser functionality.
We expect this project to be full time for 6 weeks.
We prefer for this person to be based onsite in Wheeling, Illinois for 50% of the time.
