**UPDATE: I have now uploaded example pictures of similar products, I need to combine into one program. We can not copy as that would be infringement but, these are great references to go by for visual aid.** I'm looking to hire a person to build a "plug-in" to an existing program I am using. Web based programing is not needed for this unless it aids in this programs functioning. The criteria would be to build a "plug-in" for Draftsight that will allow a detailer to have things done automatically. It would basically be creating more tools for draftsight that would allow detailing work to be more efficient. Looking for a programmer I can hire to build a "plug-in" for Draftsight. I would like to have tools built for automation. I would like the tools to make Draftsight a "smart" program. Draftsight will need to know AISC, SJI, SDI steel sizes - have a table to pick from and then once drawn, to show the size on the drawing. Making it smart to fill out an advance bill of material to give the fabricator would be a great benefit. The aim of the project is to cut the time spent in half. The perfect candidate will have experience with steel software development, plugins for steel software estimating or detailing. CAD programming. Timeframe: 4 weeks + more time needed for modifying as needed.
