I am currently in the process of moving from an Excel-based reporting framework to a Python-based reporting framework within my company. For the foreseeable future, I will be increasingly doing financial and operational data analysis in Python. Once the analysis is ready for the end-user, the results will be distributed primarily via Excel and web based reports. Initially, the reporting process will be very simple and the sophistication will increase over time.
I am looking to find one or more capable Python programmers who will be available on an on-going basis to help build different sections of this reporting infrastructure. As long as the work meets the requirements, I intend to hire the same person over and over again.
Given the long-term nature of this relationship, it is important for me to find someone that I am capable of efficiently working with. The following are the requirements I am looking for:
• Python 3+ based code
• Well documented code that can easily be modified by myself and others
• Generate consistent high quality code
• Willingness to disagree and suggest different methodologies to achieve the desired result
• Someone who sets realistic deadlines and meets them.
My first project should be relatively straight forward. I currently have a Pandas data frame where I have generated some statistics for employee and crew performance. The number of employee/crew combinations will change each time the report is generated, depending on the time frame and filters applied.

I have attached 50 lines from this data frame in the Excel document. I would like to write code that takes this data frame and produces a report that is formatted like the attached JPG. The report should be based in Excel. HTML would also be nice, but not required for this exercise.
This project is simply a screening mechanism to find a suitable freelancer before we start to do larger projects.
