I pretty much do this in my regular office time as a team lead. and i train up them as they are completely on their own to get started off from the basics, and they further do not do any such mistakes and to build a proper structured coding.

Been coding in C, C++, Java, and Python since high school. I've been participating in programming contests since high school (won a bronze medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics), doing ICPC style contests now. I think I'm experienced enough for this one. Taught a bunch of students basic C++. I can make it fun for college peeps.
