Data Analyst -- 2

We are currently looking for someone that can help us design actionable reporting and dashboards for our subscription-based e-commerce company. Responsibilities will include: Write SQL queries and stored routines to return and manipulate data per business needs Debugging and troubleshooting queries, stored procedures, and data integration solutions Optimize query performance tuning Develop and build analytic reports from conception to publication Connecting our SQL data source to reporting applications such as Power BI to create visual reports that can show us KPIs and Business Drivers, Customer Analytics, and more that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. Collaborating with programmers and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system modifications, Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary. Qualifications and Skills: Advanced knowledge of SQL, Relational databases, and ETL processes Microsoft Excel Power User 5+ years experience with reporting applications such as Power BI, Tableau, or JasperReports Understanding of E-commerce and Subscription landscape is a plus Ability to take a project from concept to launch Strong analytical and technical skills Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and comfort with telecommunication methods (email, phone, video) Knowledge of open source technologies like PHP, MySql, Git, Twig Template Engine, Slim Framework a plus
