windows firewall is not working in windows server 2012 R2

I have downloaded some updates on my windows server and after I restarted my server I couldn't access through Remote Desktop or couldn't access my websites. Apparently my firewall is blocking everything. I tried starting the firewall from the services but it shows me an error: Error 1068: the dependency service or group failed to start I need someone to help me in this regards and instructs me on what to do because I only have access through noVNC to my server through the browser.
