PLC , Ladder Logic and a Mixer Design using Rockwell Software

The Project includes the following sub projects 1. You need prepare a 15-page research pape. a- Overview about PLC’s history/development/hardware/components and how it works. b- PLC’s programming languages. c- Illustrative examples on simple ladder logic diagram implementations for practical problems. 2. Design a problem: Scenario: Using Ladder logic diagrams, you need to plan, design, and simulate the following systems:- a- Security system for a bank. You are an engineer working at IT section in a security company. You are assigned a task to design a Control system for Petroleum plant. You are an engineer working at IT section in Petroleum plant. You are assigned the task to design a control system using PLC’s. You have tanks of different ingredients; a mixture of certain amounts of the ingredients at a specified temperature is required. > You need to specify the required inputs/outputs. > You need to provide full implementation with full explanation. > Also you need to test your program on Rockwell simulation application. > You need to draw the truth table, logic gates, k-map and loggic ladder diagram for the control system. > You need to mention which PLC device you are going to use, and why you used it!
