I have a native CAD model (Pro-E/CREO) of a device that contains an adjustment mechanism within it.

The animation would show the overall product, then zoom into the mechanism area. Once zoomed in the device would change to transparent and show the mechanism. Once the mechanism is isolated (the device geometry could fade away) the animation would show the mechanism actuated. It consists of a threaded sleeve with 2 internal mating pieces.

The travel would be both axial as well as lineal.

I can provide Step or IGES files.
