Create Animations for an HTML5 Application

I will need a price quote for the creation some graphics and animations that I will need for a mobile application.

First some basic info on the application:

The application is based in HTML5.

This will be a card game (poker). We already have the poker portion of the application created.

Our application will allow users to choose an avatar. These avatars will be able to "interact with each other", doing things like slapping each other.

Additionally, each avatar will have 4 or 5 variations (meaning different facial expressions, props, etc)

These avatars are essentially caricatures of photos that we provide.

What we will need from you:

We need you to create animations of these avatars in a format that can easily be used in an HTML5 application.

The animations needed would initially be as follows:

-Each avatar getting slapped across the face

-Possibly: Each avatar transitioning between the different variations (e.g. - happy face to sad face)

My knowledge of animation for mobile applications (HTML5) is minimal, so I may need some guidance from you in creating these requirements, right now we have 2 options that we are exploring.

1. We currently have a graphic designer who has made a few sample avatars for us (with variations) and we love them. However, this designer does not do animations and delivers his work as a flat PNG.

We really like his work and would like to stick with him if possible, so my question is if there is a way that you would be able to animate his work. If so, in what format would be need the images delivered?

2. You would create our avatars and also animate them.

Since my team has already agreed that we want to use the images from our original designer, we would strongly prefer the first option.

Can you please provide a quote for each of the 2 scenarios above? Please provide a price per avatar, assuming that there will be 10-15 created initially with more coming in the future and that each will require the following:

-A "Standard" version

-5 variations of the original (different facial expressions, holding props, etc).

-An animation of the avatar being slapped across the face

- (Potentially) animations of the avatar transitioning between variations.

Please also provide a quote for adding additional animations to an avatar which you have already created. This will be required as we expand our application and add additional interactions (initially they will only be able to slap each other).

Additionally, we may also need a new logo designed. We would want the logo to contain characters that can be worked into advertisements and other animations.

Can you please provide a separate quote for this, if it is a service that you offer?

Rough estimates will work, I don't need a concrete number - just something to look at and see if it fits within our budget.
