The candidate works well in an environment of peers who are passionate about making great 3d animation. Skills and Responsibilities: Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude Traditional animation experience or seeking/wiiling to learn animation. Strong drawing skills a required (optional). Experience with animation software such as Maya\Blender (Optional). Positive attitude with the ability to work within a team Create/animate 3D Animation of different Characters(Men/Women/Animals) or environments. I am a freelance software engineer. But my side projects (which started as a hobby years ago) always included 3D design, modeling, rendering, animation, composing, 3D printing, 3D scanning and photography. I started with 3D Studio Max (with raster work done with Photoshop) but then gradually moved to free software. Now I work with Blender3D (full cycle: modeling, rendering, animation and NLE) + GIMP (textures and CG for videos). I've attended some art classes (old school non-digital art). However I find drawing and painting less fun than modeling. I feel very confident about most tasks that can be accomplished with Blender. I'm less experienced in organic modeling than parametric/technological objects. What I am looking for is getting really professional with 3D art so I can move completely from software development to 3D design and video editing. As we talk about internship I realise there's no or little budget. So for a start I suggest that you assign a testing task for me without a budget.
