الحمد لله ربِّ العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على المبعوث رحمة للعالمين، أما بعد:
فهذا ملخص للرسالة المقدمة لقسم السنة وعلومها بكلية الآداب قسم الدراسات الإسلامية بجامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبد الرحمن للحصول على درجة الماجستير بعنوان: ((زوائد رجال التاريخ الكبير للبخاري على تهذيب التهذيب لابن حجر من بداية باب الصاد ضمن (باب زياد) ترجمة زياد بن صبيح الحنفي إلى نهاية باب زهير ترجمة زهير بن حرب أبو خيثمة))
وقد اشتملت هذه الرسالة على: مقدمة وفصلين وخاتمة.
والمقدمة: فقد ذكرت فيها الأهمية العلمية للموضوع، وأسباب اختياري له، والدراسات السابقة، ومنهجي في البحث.
أما الفصلان، فالأول: يشمل -بإيجاز- على ترجمة للإمام البخاري، والتعريف بكتابه التاريخ ومنهجه فيه، وترجمة الإمام ابن حجر، والتعريف بكتابه التهذيب ومنهجه فيه، والتعريف بعلم الزوائد ونشأتها وأنواعها وأهم المصنفات فيها.
والفصل الثاني: فهو موضوع الرسالة وهو دراسة زوائد رجال ((التاريخ الكبير))على ((تهذيب التهذيب))لابن حجر، وقد جعلت النسخة المطبوعة بتحقيق المعلمي هي الأصل في الدراسة، واستعنت بمخطوطة أحمد الثالث، وآيا صوفيا، ودبلن لمطابقتها بالمطبوعة وتوضيح الاختلافات إن وجدت في الهامش.
فدرست اسم الرجل الزائد الذي في التاريخ، وشيوخه وتلاميذه، وحاله جرحاً وتعديلاً، ثم الرواة الذين في ترجمته، وتخريج الأخبار التي أوردها البخاري والحكم عليها، فخرجت نحو مائة خبر بين مرفوع وموقوف، ومتصل ومرسل.
ثم الخاتمة، وذكره فيها أهم النتائج والتوصيات، ومنها:
- أن كتاب التاريخ الكبير من أهم كتب الرجال وأعظمها من مئات السنين، وقد حفظ لنا كثيراً من الروايات والأسانيد النادرة التي قلَّ وجودها في كتب الحديث الأخرى،
- وأن البخاري لم يقتصر في كتابه على مشاهير وثقات الرجال، إنما جمع كل من له رواية للحديث وإن قلَّت.
أما الفهارس فقد شملت على: فهرس الآيات القرآنية، وفهرس الأحاديث والأخبار، وفهرس الرجال، وشيوخ البخاري، والمصطلحات العلمية، والمفردات الغريبة المفسرة، والأماكن والبلدان، والطوائف والأنساب، والموضوعات.
